Carl Sagan was a classic science culture hero in the 70s and 80s. He has been an astronomer, astrophysicist, cosmologist, astrobiologist, author and professor of natural sciences. His remarkable work on the study of intelligence and extraterrestrial life forms continues to amaze science lovers. Carl’s best-known work was the educational television show Cosmos: A personal journey.

Carl Sagan, full name Carl Edward Sagan was born on the 9th. Born November 1934 in Brooklyn, New York. Her mother was Rachel Molly Gruber and her father was Samuel Sagan. He had a sister named Carol. As a child he became interested in the stars after reading several books in the library. After seeing some futuristic visions of the World’s Fair in New York, his interest grew. He was also a fan of the ’40s sci-fi magazines. Stories and images of flying saucers fascinate him.

Carl graduated from high school at the age of 16. He went on to study at the University of Chicago. He graduated with a degree in physics in 1955. He then obtained his doctorate in astronomy and astrophysics. He worked at the University of California at the time. Sagan started working at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in 1960. At the time, he was also working at Harvard University. After a while he became director of the Planetary Research Laboratory at Cornell University. On the other hand, he’s helped NASA with other space probes. One of them is Voyager, who was created to go beyond our solar system.

He’s been married three times and divorced twice. He had five children. This legendary scientist died on the 20th. December 1996. He suffered from myelodysplasia for two years. His grave is at Lakeview Cemetery in Ithaca, New York.
